The interior is full of premium touches including heated and ventilated front seats with massage functions. ‘L&K’ badging adorns the front wings, 20-inch rims are standard-fit with 21-inch sizes optional and as you’d expect, there are tinted windows to the rear. Chrome appears on the window surrounds, the roof rails and the grille, which is offered with Skoda’s illuminated ‘Crystal Face’ LED feature. To set the L&K apart from the rest of the Enyaq range, there’s exclusive Platinum Grey detailing on the bumpers, rear diffuser and wing mirrors. The L&K almost matches the sporty RS in terms of acceleration, a 0-100km/h time of 6.7 seconds for the rear-wheel drive version and 6.6 for the all-wheel drive – the latter just 0.1 seconds off the RS. Despite the extra range and power available, Skoda has kept the 10-80 per cent recharge time at under 30 minutes. The all-wheel drive 85x Coupe tops out at 550km of range. Maximum range in the stands at 570km for the more aerodynamically efficient L&K Coupe model on the WLTP cycle – up from the 555km the regular Enyaq Coupe achieves. The tweaked electric powertrain allows for 210kW (up from 195kW in the Enyaq 80), which can be sent to the rear-wheels only in L&K 85 guise or to all four wheels in the L&K 85x. Skoda hasn’t said how much the new L&K versions will cost but traditionally they’ve been cheaper than the range-topping RS performance versions.
